Hi, I'm Amanda Lynn De Los Reyes,
Photography has been my lifelong passion, beginning in middle school when I first picked up a film camera (not to share my age). There was something magical about capturing life's moments that would otherwise be forgotten through my lens.
In my early 30s, I found myself consumed by deep sadness, losing my creative spark and myself. It was an old dear friend who reminded me to rediscover photography. Picking up my camera again was like finding my voice after years of silence. Pushing that button and capturing images from my unique perspective and artistic eye was profoundly healing.
Photography allows me to breathe life back into myself while simultaneously sharing that gift with others through my work. There is an indescribable joy in knowing my images can evoke emotions and spread happiness. Freezing a moment in time is my own personal form of mediation - requiring me to be fully present and engaged with the world around me.
With every click of the shutter, I'm documenting small slices of life that may otherwise pass by unnoticed. Photography has become my creative outlet, my therapy, my passion. It's a way of both self-expression and connection with others through a deeply personal art form.
